Raising Cane’s is dedicated to giving back to local schools and families. Together, we’re hosting a joint fundraiser to bring more disability-inclusive books into classrooms and homes.

Disability Book Week is a growing movement committed to celebrating and promoting disability-inclusive literature. Our mission is to amplify authentic voices, challenge stereotypes, educate readers, and foster a culture of understanding and inclusion through the power of storytelling. Disability Book Week is celebrated the last full week in April but our all-volunteer organization works year round to provide access to books and resources on our website, disabilitybookweek.org.

Purple Diamond Press proudly supports Charity’s Readers for Tomorrow, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing books to schools and children in need. Together, we’re building brighter futures — one story at a time. Charity’s Readers for Tomorrow is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supported in part by Purple Diamond Press, Inc. Both organizations operate independently, with transparency and full compliance to ensure that all nonprofit resources serve charitable purposes. The organization’s President, Charity M. Harris, also serves as the Founder and CEO of Purple Diamond Press, Inc. (PDP), a separate for-profit publishing company.
